Hopsewee Plantation is a beautiful venue for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and bridal luncheons. This 18th century original Rice Plantation is open to the public for tours of the plantation house built between 1735 and 1740. It is the birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., SC Signer of the Declaration of Independence, and is the original house that remains very close to its original condition. Lunch is served in the beautiful River Oak Cottages just steps from the original house.
We will be featuring our beautiful venue for weddings at the Southern Bridal Show this Sunday, February 21, 2016 at the Charleston Area Convention Center! Learn more about us at Hopsewee.com + Facebook and Instagram.
